Being web based, U Do allows access to administrators from any location, as well as providing a great deal of control over users and their roles. User groups can be created with varying levels of administrative access, which can be customised on a detailed basis, down to which controls are visible within the page editor.

Author, Approver, Publisher roles allow content to be created by many users, which is then checked and approved by other users before finally being published live to the website.

U DO includes a 'check in - check out' mechanism so that content can be checked out while a user is editing. Page versioning allows content to be rolled back to previous versions, and timed publishing allows you to set a time and date for content publishing and removal from the website.

Non-administrative users and groups can be created in order to control access to public areas of the website, for instance to create members-only areas of a website which are password protected.

The standard version of U DO includes limited creation of users, whilst the more advanced user module and workflow are available as additional modules.
