Some information such as press releases or company announcements are time specific, should not available before a specific date / time, or has a limited lifespan. Most content management products force users to manually publish and archive content, however U Do incorporates scheduled publishing to effectively deal with this requirement.
U Do has the ability to set a date or specific time in the future for individual information to be published automatically to a site. This feature can be useful where there is time-sensitive information that needs to be published at mid-night or in other periods such as the weekend when no staff are available to publish content manually.
Similarly some information such vacant career positions or events may have a limited shelf life and need removed from a site to keep the content relevant. For this type of content U Do can automatically remove the content from the site to place in an archive where it can be stored or removed from the system entirely if required.
Between the two extremes of needing content to be published at a specific time and then archived at another is the requirement to periodically review the current validity of content on a regular basis. In this instance, U Do enables a user to select a date in the future for them to be reminded to review this content in the future in the "My Workspace" feature that is presented to them upon system login.
